    2025-26 LITTLE LEARNERS PRESCHOOL registration began on March 17. 2025-26 INFORMATION: Little Learners offers unmatched programming that follows school readiness curriculum designed around building self-esteem, increasing social skills, encouraging self-reliance and developing cognitive skills necessary for kindergarten success. Children are taught by a licensed teacher and one assistant in a safe and nurturing environment. Little Learners Outdoors! -- Everything you love about our Little Learners program plus the additional benefits of an outdoor nature experience using the MN DNR Project Learning Tree and Project Wild curriculum. The majority of Little Learners Outdoors is outside exploring trails, woods and our dynamic nature classrooms while still incorporating all the key learning curriculum. Students spend minimal time inside each day, but do have a designated indoor classroom if the weather is unsuitable for us to be outdoors.     Tuesday, Sept. 16 | 7:30 am-5:15 pm | $120 | Deadline: MONDAY, AUGUST 25, 2025 - No refunds after this date! 7:30 a.m. Leave Eastview Elementary, 9375 Fenning Ave. No., Monticello. Load in parking lot. 7:45 a.m. St Michael Elementary - 101 Central Ave W, St Michael 55376 - Pick up in the parking lot In the front of the building. 9:00 a.m. Make a comfort stop at the Goose Creek Rest Area near Harris, MN. 10:45 a.m. Arrival at the NW Wisconsin Regional Visitor Center in Trego, WI. Take time to use the rest room and visit the gift store. The train staff will load guests into the dining cars. 11:15 a.m. Depart on the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad. The historic railroad recreates the atmosphere of rail travel using rebuilt cars from 1912 to 1918. Ride the rails to Bean Creek. Have lunch in the dining car. Menu: Chicken Entrée with Rice, Vegetable, Dinner Roll, Cookie and Coffee or Lemonade. After lunch enjoy the relaxing scenery from the train as it travels into rural Wisconsin. 12:45 p.m. Train returns to the depot. 1:00 p.m. Estimated departure time from Trego. 2:15 p.m. Stop to buy cheese at the Burnett Dairy Cooperative retail store near Grantsburg, WI.   • Basketball Summer Skills High School Boys | Grades 7-12

    High School Boys Summer Skills narrows its focus from an overall skills camp and specifically teaches the individual skills needed to be a successful player in today's game. Instructor: HS Boys Basketball Coaches will lead this session with the following skills: *Developing ball handling and dribbling *Creating space for yourself and others *Finishing moves around the basket *Shooting: Rhythm and Repetition *Defensive stance, footwork and movement *Understanding and executing skills coaches look for *Skill work for one hour and organized games to apply the skills for 30 minutes either in a 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, or 5v5 setting. Note: Athletes are not required, but are strongly recommended to also register for Summer Sports Speed & Strength 6:45-8 am session before May 15th. Signing up for only July practices? Please do so! The price point has already been adjusted to not include fees for past June practices.

    Battle Drones features an exciting combination of aerial acrobatics with an engineering design challenge that will teach students STEM concepts, teamwork, and how to skillfully fly a drone. In Battle Drones, teams of students will build robotic launchers designed to fling projectiles at their opponents' drones. Students will be guided by experienced camp instructors in how to construct their launchers to maximize projectile speed and accuracy. The camp will culminate in an epic battle where students will need to pilot their drones to safety by dodging opponent projectiles while using their own launchers to take down opponent drones. The best drone pilots and lunchers will emerge victorious! Option to purchase a drone in this class. Taught by a COR Robotics instructor. This class is for students entering 3rd grade and finishing 8th grade.

If a student is unable to attend the live online training time, they can still register and watch the recording of the training at their convenience.
