Explore changes in laws, learn about the latest vehicle technologies, and learn easy-to-use defensive driving techniques. In addition, this class will explore traffic safety and accident prevention. Babysitting 101 Ages 10-13
Learn current practices for safety, injury prevention, first aid basics, and feeding and caring for infants. Additionally, learn how to handle behavior problems and how to manage a babysitting business. You will receive a reference book, handouts, babysitting bag and a first aid kit. Instructor: Emergency Outfitters Info for students/parents: You will need to bring your own pen or pencil, bag lunch, and are encouraged to bring your own hand sanitizer (we can provide extra as needed). Students will need to practice proper hygiene measures during class. -

No need to have previous basketball experience, this is for all skill levels. Participants will have the opportunity to join the varsity players on the court in exciting team competitions, and photo opportunities. Participants will also receive a t-shirt, pizza and drink. Big Lake Dance Team Mini Camp & Performance Grades K-6
Our Big Lake High School dance team will teach a routine to elementary kids, then perform it during half time at the Varsity home football game on Oct. 7. Students will practice 2 times before this event. Dancers will remain in the stands with their parents until called down to gather for the performance a few minutes before the end of the 2nd quarter. Each student will receive free admission to the game, a set of pom-poms and 2 free adult admission tickets. Instructors: Big Lake High School Dance Team. Bowling Club Grades 1-6
NEW! Spare, split, strike! Learn the skills and techniques of bowling including how to keep score, proper etiquette and more! We'll meet on Saturday's October 1, 8, 15 & 29 from 12-1pm at River City Extreme. The program will culminate with a competition and pizza party with the other school districts involved. All participants will receive a t-shirt and certificate. No experience necessary. Instructors are bowling alley staff or youth bowling coaches.
