    AeroCode Academy is the most exciting way for students to learn how to program! Using block based programming tools to command their drones, students will sharpen their skills and take to the skies. By starting out with guided tutorials, students of all skill levels will find success before implementing their own custom programs. Teams of students will battle their drones in fun and exciting challenges that will teach them valuable 21st century programming skills, as well as teamwork and collaboration. You will have the option to buy your drone and keep it after class, see payment options when checking out. This class is for students entering 3rd grade and finishing 8th grade.

  • Discovery Club Summer Field Trips

    **If your child is registered for Kids Club during these field trips, they are included in their daily activities so do not register** Join us for FREE as we tour and enjoy our local community! Open to youth who will be going into Kindergarten-6th grade fall of 2024. Children will build a stronger connection to nature and make lasting memories while visiting fun and exciting local parks and attractions. No spending money is needed. Please have your child wear tennis shoes, comfortable clothing, and have sunscreen applied. Also, please send your child with their own water bottle. While enrolling please ensure all contact information is up to date such as current email address, physical address, emergency contact names and phone #'s.     Glitter and slime are oh so fine! Come explore the messier side of art in this fun filled class. We will roll up our sleeves and make a mess as we mix up a batch of glitter slime and create an oh-so-silly jar to store it in. Making a mess is the best, especially when you leave the mess with us!     This class serves those who are no longer a fit for the intermediate level class. This class is by instructor invitation only. Approval is needed to take this class, please contact CE Gymnastics email: cegymnastics@biglakeschools.org. If you have been pre-approved previously, please register online.     Work together with your child as you practice different activities such as walking on a beam, throwing rings, forward and backward rolls, wall walkers, jumps, bear crawls and so much more.   • Gymnastics Preschool | Ages 4-5 yrs.

    This class is for independent child participation. The class will help with coordination and body awareness. Your child will go through many activities throughout the gym learning basic gymnastics skills. Children must be potty trained and a parent must remain for the duration of class. Note: If class is showing full when registering, please put your student on the waitlist as class sizes/additions change closer to the first class date.   • High School Off-Season Gymnastics Training Grades 7-12

    For these classes you must be able to: go over the vault table without spot, go to the high bar without help, and complete a front tuck and round off backhand spring on floor. You must also be willing to participate in all events, drills and stations with a good attitude. No prorated amounts will be allowed. Additional information will be noted on the BAND app. Please reach out to: cegymnastics@biglakeschools.org to receive these notifications regarding our Off Season Gymnastics Training Classes.   • Horse Camp Ages 2-5 yrs.

    Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet a number of our different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn about how to groom the horses...all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15 minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. :) PARENT/GUARDIAN: This 2-hour camp is designed for parent/guardian participation. Parent/Guardian is expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp. WEATHER: Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena.   • Horse Camp Ages 6-15 yrs.

    Kids will learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40min-50min (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk on their own. They also might make horse treats, do a craft, and play games. And don't forget the time to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! PARENT Drop-off is at 9am and PARENT pickup is 3pm. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. Instructors: Boulder Pointe Staff WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING? ● Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of barn. ● No flip flops. ● Sunscreen/hat/bug spray ● Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch ● Treats for the horses if you want ● Helmets are provided.     Experience a mini-week long camp! Campers will get to experience everyday life at a barn! Life in the barn will include activities such as; daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, groom and care for the horses (including bathing) and feed them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. Please note that riding takes about 1 hour per day in an arena, no trails and consist of learning to how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day. PARENT Drop-off is at 9am and PARENT pickup is 3pm. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. This is a great time to take pictures, watch your child ride and meet their horse they worked during the week.   • Non-Contact Hornet 7v7 Football Passing League

    NEW! The first hour of practice will be instructional time followed by the 7v7 games that are coached and officiated by Big Lake HS Football team coaches and players. This league will have a focus on fun and help all athletes develop a love for the sport via a fully non-contact model.
