Take a few minutes to purchase refreshments (on own). 11:15 AM - Arrive in Duluth. As time permits take the colorful Skyline Drive overlooking the Twin Ports of Superior and Duluth. Nestled on the rocky hillside the city overlooks Lake Superior, the largest freshwater lake in the world 12:25 PM - Take a Harbor Cruise aboard the Vista Star. The narrated sightseeing cruise is approximately sixty minutes. Experience the wonders of Lake Superior. The Vista often cruises next to 1,000-foot lake freighters and oceangoing vessels. They pass underneath the Aerial Lift Bridge which lifts up to allow them to pass through. See a variety of ships in the beautiful water of the Twin Port Harbor. 2:00 PM - Arrive at Blackwoods Restaurant for lunch. Locally owned and family-operated since the early 90’s. Everything is fresh and made from scratch into slow-cooked classic meals. 2:15 PM - Lunch service: Menu: Chicken Pot Pie Simmered with Fresh Carrots, Green Peas, Potatoes, and Pearl Onions with a Flaky, Golden Pie Crust.
