ACT Self-Paced Online Prep Course| Grades 10-12
Self-Paced Online ACT Prep Course: Students prep on their own schedule and pace. Instruction is pre-recorded and provided online using videos and slides. Students may register for this course at any time and will be able to access the course throughout the school year via an assigned access code. Tuition is $60. ACT National exam dates for 2021/2022: February 6 (1/10), April 10 (3/05), June 12 (5/07), July 17 (6/11) In-house ACT test will be on Tuesday, 3/8 Big Lake High School. -
Amazing Athletes Ages 2.5-6 years
This developmental sports and fitness program teaches basic fundamentals and mechanics of nine different sports including baseball, volleyball, lacrosse, football, basketball, soccer, golf, hockey and tennis. Build self-confidence, practice teamwork and improve motor skills. Asian Fencing (Kumdo) Ages 11+
The way of the Sword presents new opportunities for those interested in martial arts. Kum Do\Kum Bub is a uniquely rewarding class because it is taught as a separate discipline. Those with no martial arts experience can enjoy the full benefits of the class. However, for the same reason the class offers a new challenge for experienced martial artists to expand their knowledge and skill. Babysitting 101 Ages 10-13
Learn current practices for safety, injury prevention, first aid basics, and feeding and caring for infants. Additionally, learn how to handle behavior problems and how to manage a babysitting business. You will receive a reference book, handouts, babysitting bag and a first aid kit. Info for students/parents: You will need to bring your own pen or pencil, bag lunch, and are encouraged to bring your own hand sanitizer (we can provide extra as needed). Students will need to practice proper hygiene measures during class. -

Basketball Summer Hoops School Boys Grades 4-12
The Summer Hoop School narrows its focus from an overall skills camp and specifically teaches the individual skills needed to be a successful player in today's game. Coach Critchley will lead this session and the following skills will be emphasized. Instructor: Coach Critchley *Developing ball handling and dribbling *Creating space for yourself and others *Finishing moves around the basket *Shooting: Rhythm and Repetition *Defensive stance, footwork and movement *Understanding and executing skills coaches look for *Skill work for one hour and organized games to apply the skills for 30 minutes either in a 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, or 5v5 setting. Bee Adventurous - Photo Crafts! Grades 3-8
Create several photo keepsakes using your own photos! Make your photos come alive using paint, glue, craft paper, wood, and embellishments. Please bring approx. 25-30 4x6 photos with you on the first day of class. Similar size photos are also acceptable and can be color or black and white. Photos can include you, family members, pets, or just special places but should be appropriate.
