Kids learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas, practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk, trot, and canter (depending on camper's riding experience). They also make horse treats, do a craft, and play games. And don't forget the time to feed and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. Campers need to bring lunch, snacks, and plenty to drink. Camps are rain or shine. Proper attire includes a sneaker or boot (closed toe with a heel), long pants and layering depending on weather. Note: Please following this link and complete 3 in 1 waiver before camp: The link is: https://www.horseridingrocks.com/forms.html Pictures: Parents are not able to stay during camp or come early as it becomes problematic for their counselors and the flow of the camp. Week-long camps have a show at the end where parents can come to watch their kids ride and take photos at that time. Boulder Pointe takes photos and post them in google photo albums that are linked and posted on our Facebook.
