  • Gymnastics Beginner | Ages 5-6

    This class is for 5-6 year olds. You will practice gymnastics skills and terminology on all four events (vault, uneven bars, floor, and balance beam). In Big Lake Community Education we offer an age-based gymnastics program where we work hard to get to know your child and help them improve their gymnastics from whatever skill level they are currently at.   • Gymnastics Parent/Child | 18 months-3 years

    Work together with your child as you practice different activities such as walking on a beam, throwing rings, forward and backward rolls, wall walkers, jumps, bear crawls and so much more. Note: If a class is full, please still put your child on our waiting lists as class sizes are changed/added closer to the first class date.   • Gymnastics Preschool | Ages 4-5 yrs.

    This class is for independent child participation. The class will help with coordination and body awareness. Your child will go through many activities throughout the gym learning basic gymnastics skills. Children must be potty trained and a parent must remain for the duration of class. Note: If class is showing full when registering, please put your student on the waitlist as class sizes/additions change closer to the first class date.   • Horse Camp Ages 2-5 yrs.

    Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet a number of our different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn about how to groom the horses...all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15 minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. :) PARENT/GUARDIAN: This 2-hour camp is designed for parent/guardian participation. Parent/Guardian is expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp. WEATHER: Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena.   • Horse Camp Ages 6-15 yrs.

    Kids will learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40min-50min (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk on their own. They also might make horse treats, do a craft, and play games. And don't forget the time to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! PARENT Drop-off is at 9am and PARENT pickup is 3pm. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. Instructors: Boulder Pointe Staff WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING? ● Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of barn. ● No flip flops. ● Sunscreen/hat/bug spray ● Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch ● Treats for the horses if you want ● Helmets are provided.   • Horse Camp Three Day | Ages 6+ years 9AM-3PM

    Experience a mini-week long camp! Campers will get to experience everyday life at a barn! Life in the barn will include activities such as; daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, groom and care for the horses (including bathing) and feed them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. Please note that riding takes about 1 hour per day in an arena, no trails and consist of learning to how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day. PARENT Drop-off is at 9am and PARENT pickup is 3pm. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. At the end of the week, parents and family are invited to a performance to see what their camper has been learning! Please note that riding takes up about 1 hour per day in an arena, no trails and consist of learning to how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day. Drop-off is at 9am and pickup is 3pm each day Monday through Friday. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. However there is a “show” for the parents Fridays of weeklong camps at 1:30pm! This is a great time to take pictures, watch your child ride and meet their horse they worked during the week. Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside/outside of the barn. ● No flip flops. ● Sunscreen/hat/bug spray ● Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch ● Treats for the horses if you want ● Helmets are provided.   • Instrumental Music Lessons

    Big Lake Community Education offers individual lessons to help develop your musical skills. Instructor, Abbey Keister, will contact those interested after registration to set up lesson times. Lessons will be offered to incoming 6th graders through outgoing 12th graders. Lessons are 30 minutes and you can register for 6 or 8 lessons throughout the summer.

    Are you ready for some serious cuteness? You are going to love to create these kawaii-styled projects that are so cute that they'll make everyone go "Aww!" we'll be using clay, paint, and Model Magic as we make these adorable masterpieces that emphasize the true quality of cuteness. We'll make a teeny tiny succulent garden, we;ll draw and paint a happy avocado and we'll even make a teddy bear macaroon that is just cute as can be! Please bring a nut free snack and drink for your child. This class is taught by a KidCreate staff member.
  • Make Money Pet Sitting | Ages 12+

    Do you love animals...especially doges? Learn how to make extra money after school or work by watching dogs or other pets, usually in the pet's home. You will learn about feeding, watering, and exercising pets, how to make a good impression as well as what questions to ask when interviewing for a pet sitting job, and what to do when a dog has behavioral issues. You will also discover other services you can offer to make more money, such as dog walking, grooming, puppy training, etc. Informative handouts for future use are included in class fee. This class is taught by a seasoned professional pet sitter and a long time entrepreneur. The webinar login information will be emailed the day before class.

    We'll paint with plaster, tie-dye, make papier mache birds and fling paint like Jackson Pollock. We will even learn some art terms along the way. These are not projects to tackle at home - leave the mess with use. After all, art can be a mega messy good time! Please pack a nut free snack and drink for your child.   • Painting with Threads

    Come and explore a fun new approach to mixed media! Using paints, you will create beautiful designs on canvas. Each painting with be embroidered with vibrant threads using stitches taught in class. Child-safe sewing needles will be used. Come and join us in on the fun!
  • Piano Lessons

    Beginner and Intermediate Piano Lessons- Are you or your student looking to learn to play the piano? This class is for brand new beginner students or those who have less than 2 years experience with another teacher. Young students should have an excitement for learning a new instrument and are also able to focus for a 30 minute lesson. Learning piano is a great skill to have and is super fun and rewarding!   • Robotic Builders: Star Wars Themed

    This course builds knowledge of simple machines, engineering, programming, and teamwork in an environment full of galactic fun! Designed by the experts at MIT, the WEDO Robotics system is a unique system that teaches students about simple machines, engineering, programming, and so much more. Working in pairs, students will create Star Wars and space-inspired robots. Please bring a bag lunch and a drink. *For students entering grades 1-5*
  • Robotics Problem Solvers

    Learn basic robotics skills such as; programming, construction, testing, and design while you create robots that solve specific problems generated during the program. You will be using scratch coding and Lego Spike Prime as your tools for problem solving using robots. You will be required to design and 3D print one new part for your robot using design software and a 3D printer. This class is taught by a CSGA Enrichment instructor.
  • SAFE Kids

    This four-hour course will help your child feel safe when home alone. Students will go through basic first aid, home emergencies, stranger and internet safety, and more. Bring a nut free snack and drink.
