**If your child is registered for Kids Club during these field trips, they are included in their daily activities so do not need to register** Join us for FREE as we tour and enjoy our local community! Open to youth who will be going into Kindergarten-6th grade fall of 2023. Children will build a stronger connection to nature and make lasting memories while visiting fun and exciting local parks and attractions. No spending money is needed. Please have your child wear tennis shoes, comfortable clothing, and have sunscreen applied. Also, please send your child with their own water bottle. While enrolling please ensure all contact information is up to date such as current email address, physical address, emergency contact names and phone #'s. Drop off and pickup at Door B - Big Lake Middle School. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to bus departure time. On site activities are located at the Big Lake Middle School (Enter Door B) & Big Lake High School Auditorium (Enter Door A) Spots are limited so grab your spot now! Park Trips: Lions Park | Highline Park | Liberty Elementary Playground | Elm Creek Play Area | Pioneer Park | Ellison Park | Wrights Crossing Park Splash Pad Trips: Orono Splash Pad & Park | Prairie Park & Splash Pad (Make sure your child has a change of clothes, towel, tennis shoes, flip Flops and sunscreen. No concessions are provided or available. Local Events: Dazzling Dave Yo-Yo (Big Lake HS Auditorium) Free Yo-Yo to each participant. Parents are required to stay with their children during performances. Creature Features (Big Lake Middle School) Waiver is required to attend and will be emailed before event. Theatre: Sidekick Theatre's "Pirates of Treasure Island " Hemker Park & Zoo: Send your kiddo with a packed lunch, snacks, water bottle, walking shoes and a few snacks. Spending money is optional.
