  • Archery Club

    BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! Join us for the second season of Big Lake Archery Club! Archers come together to share in their love for archery in a fun, confidence building, and team focused environment taught by certified NASP BAI coaches. Kids of all skill levels are welcome and encouraged to join the team with newcomers to the sport needing to attend the Intro to Archery Club pre-season class. Equipment is available for students to borrow during the season. If using your own bow, it must be a Genesis Original bow. Tournament competition registration and tournament jersey purchase will be separate and al a carte style to match your archers needs. If your archer will be competing in tournaments, please make sure you purchase a tournament jersey. Register and purchase a tournament jersey before Jan. 5th to have before our first tournament. Registrations from Jan. 5th-end of day on Jan. 15th will have your tournament jersey around early Feb. Register before December 23rd, to receive your free practice shirt in the first order and to have it before season starts in Jan. A second practice shirt order will be placed in January for those that register after 12/23. 4th-12th graders will be eligible for NASP tournament competition while 3rd graders will only be eligible for NASP Junior tournaments and Team participation in Juniors Tournaments is TBD if MN is hosting any Juniors tournaments. Please also keep in mind your child must attend school at Indy STEM Elementary, Big Lake Middle or Big Lake High School/Online to be eligible for tournament competition. To review NASP Tournament rules, visit their website here. Our mandatory pre-season Parent Meeting will be on Monday, Jan. 12th from 7:40-8:40pm in the Indy East Archery Gym. This meeting is for ALL archery families regardless if you were on the team last year. Team and individual pictures will be taken on Thursday, Feb. 12th from 6-8pm with Lommel Photography at the Indy STEM Elementary cafeteria. Arrive slightly before 6pm in your tournament jersey or practice shirt for the full team picture then stay to take your individual photo afterwards. We will pass out photo order sheets at practices in the end of Jan. You can also pre-order online with Lommel as we get closer to Feb. 12th. Register for team early as spots will fill up quickly! Use the waiting list if your preferred section is full as we might be able to open more slots up during certain practice times. *Please note we have made some changes to the practice grade level eligibilities online that are different than our print catalog so please review those carefully. If you register for team and purchase a jersey after Jan. 4th, your jersey will be ordered in the second production round and not received until the beginning of February 2026.     DASH Sports Summer Flag Football camps provide players with a well-rounded football experience in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced daily, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with scrimmages/games the final day where players can showcase their skills. Athletes should wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle and a snack (spikes/cleats, and mouth guards are optional). Flag belts, and football are provided.

    DASH Sports Flag Football Tykes camps provide players with an introductory experience to the great game of football in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced. Fun, skill-based games will be played to practice newly learned skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothing & shoes (spikes/cleats are optional). Footballs and flag belts are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3 yr old age group and recommended when needed for the 4+ year old age group.

    Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. DASH Sports Summer Pickleball will provide participants with an introductory experience to the game in a fun and positive atmosphere. Emphasis is on technique and game play. Key elements of serving, returning, volleys, overheads, and lobbing will be taught and practiced. Camp ends with games on the final day. Participants should wear athletic wear, and bring a water bottle. Campers also should bring a pickleball paddle (if you don’t have one, we will provide paddles). Balls and all other equipment are provided.

    Soccer: DASH Sports soccer camps provide players a well-rounded soccer experience covering a broad range of soccer skills training (dribbling, passing, shooting, & defense) and skill-based games. Players will be challenged and grouped at an appropriate level while receiving instruction in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage on the final day. Athletes should bring a water bottle (spikes and shin guards are optional). Balls are provided.     Looking for a fun introduction to baseball? DASH Sports T-Ball Tykes camp introduces players to key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and base running. The final day of classes is ‘Game Day’ and athletes will showcase their skills in a game environment. Athletes should bring a water bottle and a baseball glove. Baseballs and bats are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-4 yr old age group and recommended when needed for the 4+ year old age group.
  • DASH Track & Field Camp

    DASH Sports Track & Field camps provide participants with practice in several areas including: Sprinting, javelin throwing, shotput, relay running, jumping and distance running. Campers will be tested/timed and re-tested on several events. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance. Campers should bring a water bottle and wear athletic shoes.

    The Hornet baseball team coaching staff along with high school players will be working in small groups on drills and activities that the high school program uses. Areas we will be working on are: infield, outfield, and hitting. Join us for a look into what skills are emphasized at the high school level, yet broken down so younger players can have success doing them. Athletes should bring a full water bottle and their personal equipment such as baseball glove, bat, and helmet. They should be wearing clothing they an be active in and gym shoes.     Join us for this exciting class which is mandatory for first time archers and those that need a refresher before Club starts or for anyone new to archery and wanting to try out the sport before signing up for the Archery Team. This Intro to Archery is a fundraiser for the Archery program. Only a $10 registration fee! Open for Grades 3-12. Note: You will have until Jan. 15th to sign up for the Archery Team online.   • Munchkin Sports

    Back again with Munchkin Sports! Mr. Krutzig will introduce your child to the many benefits of sports and activities including concentration, balance, coordination, teamwork, skill development, and most importantly fun! This program will run for 4 weeks on Monday nights and will include the following activities: T-Ball, Kickball, Soccer, Floor Hockey, Bowling, Racket Sports and Balancing Activities. To play, your child should wear comfortable clothes and shoes and be ready to have a great time learning new skills and making new friends! * Children must be fully potty trained in order to participate. * Parents are to remain in the gym during class time if possible and when needed. * If your child is having a hard time being safe and a good team member, parents will need to assist or the child may be asked to take a break.

  • Soccer Indoor

    NEW! In a partnership with BLCE, Great River Soccer is putting on a camp for Grades 2-4. Led by Emily Barthel and some varsity high school athletes, this is a camp that will work on the fundamentals of soccer consisting of foot skills, shooting, passing, and knowledge of the game (spacing and movement off the ball). Practices will be held at Independence Elementary School, Enter Door J, hang a left and the gym is on the right. Have your athlete wear comfortable clothing, clean tennis shoes and bring a water bottle. Each participant will receive a free soccer ball. There will be 5 sessions and each will focus on a particular skill. The sessions will go over as follows: Dribbling and foot skills Defensive formation Shooting and finishing in the final third Passing and movement off the ball Positioning and understanding of the game
