  • Horse Camp Ages 2-5 yrs.

    Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet a number of our different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn about how to groom the horses...all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15 minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. :) PARENT/GUARDIAN: This 2-hour camp is designed for parent/guardian participation. Parent/Guardian is expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp. WEATHER: Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena. Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! PARENT Drop-off is at 9am and PARENT pickup is 3pm. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day.   • Horse Camp Three Day | Ages 6+ years 9AM-3PM

    Experience a mini-week long camp! Campers will get to experience everyday life at a barn! Life in the barn will include activities such as; daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, groom and care for the horses (including bathing) and feed them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. Please note that riding takes about 1 hour per day in an arena, no trails and consist of learning to how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day. PARENT Drop-off is at 9am and PARENT pickup is 3pm. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. At the end of the week, parents and family are invited to a performance to see what their camper has been learning! Please note that riding takes up about 1 hour per day in an arena, no trails and consist of learning to how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day. Drop-off is at 9am and pickup is 3pm each day Monday through Friday. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. However there is a “show” for the parents Fridays of weeklong camps at 1:30pm! This is a great time to take pictures, watch your child ride and meet their horse they worked during the week.   • Intro to 3D Printing & CAD

    This 3D printing camp takes students through the 3D printing process from start to finish. Students will design 3D objects using TinkerCAD and the 3D slicing program Cura to bring their creations to life. From industrial design and manufacturing to software and hardware engineering, the 3D printing industry is booming. This course is an excellent introduction to 3D printing and is edeal for students who like ot draw, design, imagine, and see their creations come to life. Printing and material fees are included. Students will get to bring home two of their 3D creations. Please Note: the grade change from the catalog print. This class is available for grades 1-6.

    If you like playing video games, you'll love designing them! Trained instructors will teach students how to program their own video games using an engaging program called Kodu. They will create their own world, populate it with characters, and then play the games they create during class. Students will learn important programming skills while having tons of fun, with no prior experience needed! This class is for students entering 3rd grade and finishing 8th grade.

    KIDS CLUB FAMILIES: BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THESE EXCLUSIVE CLASSES YOUR CHILD WILL NEED TO HAVE PASSED THE NECESSARY SKILLS BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THESE. NOTE: Kids Club participants must be scheduled to attend childcare on ALL the dates that swim lessons are offered to be eligible for these special lessons. Please have your child arrive at Kids Club no later than 7:30am with their swimsuit on and own towel along with a change of clothes on swim lesson days. 4 Sessions meet on Monday-Thursdays: Class times: Turtle 1, 2 & 3 8-8:30 am | Otters, Dolphins & Sharks - all meet from 8:35-9:15 am. Turtle (Level 1) Your swimmer will focus on water exploration; learning how to float, blow bubbles, push off of the wall, kicking, and small distance forward motion. Swimmers will learn personal water safety along with basic swim competency. Turtle (Level 2) This class will build on the Turtle 1 class allowing swimmers to swim and kick longer distances, submerge under the water to pick up a ring from the bottom of the pool, and jumping in from the side. The benchmarks for passing will be submerging underwater, swim to float, and learning to jump and swim to safety. Turtle (Level 3) Turtle 3 is a class designed for swimmers who are on the verge of passing onto our Otter level 1 class but just need a little more practice on certain specific skills. Must be pre-approved from Kaycee Taubert before registering for these sessions. Otter 1 (Level 1) In this class, swimmers learn to create their foundation. Swimmers will be introduced to underwater streamline, swimming and kicking longer distances, building on their treading skills, and jumping in from the side and swimming a certain distance. This class is 30 minutes. Otter 2 (Level 1 Advanced) In this class swimmers will build on the foundations from Otter 1. Swimmers will work on swimming and kicking longer distances, explore simultaneous arm and leg motions on their stomach and back. Swimmers will focus on body position, control and directional change. This class is 30 minutes. Dolphin 1 (Level 2) In this class, swimmers will develop stroke technique in front and backstroke, and introduce the breaststroke kick and diving. Swimmers will continue to build on their endurance by learning rotary breathing. This class is 40 minutes. Dolphin 2 (Level 3) This class will focus on stroke introduction and will continue with stroke technique and diving. Swimmers will be introduced to the dolphin kick and timed swimming events. Students will also be introduced to the butterfly in this class. This class is 40 minutes. Shark 1 (Level 4) In this class, swimmers will learn all four competitive strokes and technique work on how to improve their swimming abilities. Swimmers will also be introduced to starts and turns while building their endurance for Shark 5. This class is 50 minutes. Shark 2 (Level 5) In this advanced class swimmers will refine their strokes and learn about competitive swimming. Swimmers will gain endurance and learn skills on how to incorporate swimming into a healthy lifestyle. This class is 50 minutes. Please make sure you pick the level that is most appropriate for your swimmer. If your swimmer has taken lessons before, please answer during registration what the highest level they passed was. Aquatics staff will move children as needed based on their ability the first day of lessons.

    Math-By-Mail is expanding its options to do math! How exciting! Not only are we offering our predetermined set of 8 packets, we will also offer an ala carte menu. Our added approach allows for individual choice regarding the skills and concepts students and parents can request to build math confidence. Still an 8 week course with a self paced approach. Student completed packets should be mailed (USPS) to Math-By-Mail. We will then provide feedback and return corrected packets to students via USPS. As always the goal of Math-By-Mail is to provide rich content to maintain mathmatical understanding!
