8:45 a.m. Leave Eastview Elementary, 9375 Fenning Ave. No., Monticello.Load in parking lot.
9:00 a.m. St Michael Elementary - 101 Central Ave W, St Michael 55376 - Pick up in the parking lot on the front of the building.
10:00 a.m. A tour guide will board the motor coach for a *sightseeing tour of Excelsior and the surrounding area along beautiful Lake Minnetonka.
10:55 a.m. Arrive a Maynards Restaurant on the shores of Lake Minnetonka. Menu: Half Sandwich, Cup of Soup, Beverage.
12:45 p.m. After lunch, motor coach will transfer the group to the Excelsior Streetcar ticket booth in downtown Excelsior.
1:00 p.m. Hop on board the Excelsior Streetcar. Enjoy a trolley trip along a half-mile of track and stop at the car barn to view a photo gallery from the 1800s and see work in progress on a streetcar restoration.
2:00 p.m. Streetcar will return to downtown ticket stand. Note:The trolley ticket booth is located next to *The Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Historical Society Museum. Operating hours for 2024 have not been determined.If it is open, guests can see artifacts and exhibits about the south Lake Minnetonka area and historic Excelsior.
