    Boys Club Volleyball Grades 6-12 Do you like to play volleyball or want to learn more about it? Join us at Club Volleyball and improve your skills! We will practice and scrimmage against each other and other local volleyball players as we gain confidence and experience in our game! Club Volleyball is open to all area athletes not just Big Lake & Monticello students.   • Code Championship Tournament Series

    Build a computer bot to play head-to-head against other coders! Whether this is your first Code Championship event, or if you've been competing for years, this is the perfect way to explore the competitive coding world of Code Championship. No previous coding experience necessary. The Code Championship Series is a series of four tournaments on four weeks (it's ok to miss one or two). These tournaments will be hosted online using Google Meet and the Code Championship website. If you have a modern browser like Chrome or Firefox, not additional download is required. Please come knowing how to navigate the internet (basic typing and mouse control). The link to the Google meet event will be emailed two days before the tournament.     NEW! DASH Sports' Athleticism camps provide participants with an overall introduction to building athleticism. The camp experience includes running, agility, jumping, catching, balance/body control, and throwing. Camp consists of many different types of activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall athletic performance. Campers should bring water and wear athletic shoes.
  • Dolphin 1 Level 2 Aquatics

    Swimmers will develop stroke technique in front and backstroke, and introduce breaststroke kick, and diving. Swimmers will continue to build on their endurance by learning rotary breathing. Swim Levels are more about skill rather than age. If you are unsure of your child’s swim level, please contact: k.taubert@biglakeschools.org for verification. NOTE: Mid-session progress reports will be sent digitally for each level. Please provide current email address when registering to receive these reports. After completion of your child’s session, you will be handed a skills completion card that will show you the next or current level your child should enroll in.     This complete Drivers Education program consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind the wheel training. Behind-the-wheel instruction will be scheduled individually and directly with Wreck-Less Driving Academy. Students must attend all 30 hours. Any missed classes must be made up in future sessions (at any Wreck-Less location). Students will receive a completion certificate once all 30 hours are complete. Eligible Students must be 14 1/2 years old before the first day of class. Please provide current email and contact information when registering. Parents will receive a welcome email from Wreck-Less approximately 1 week before class.     VIRTUAL DRIVERS EDUCATION CLASSES: Students MUST have the ability to print curriculum before class begins and the technology to attend class via Zoom with a camera and microphone. Parents and students will receive a welcome letter, Zoom information, curriculum and additional registration materials via email approximately 10 days before class begins. Registration is not considered complete until required forms are received in the Wreck-Less office 3 days before this class begins! Parents will need to provide a current email address and contact phone number upon registration. This complete 'VIRTUAL" Drivers Education program consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction via online, and 6 hours of behind the wheel training. Behind-the-wheel instruction will be scheduled individually and directly with Wreck-Less Driving Academy. Students must attend all 30 hours.     Let those little ones burn off some energy! The class will help with coordination, flexibility and balance. Your child will go through many activities including walking on beams, hanging on the bars, learning floor movements, trying out the vault and more.     NEW! The Hornet coaching staff along with high school players will be working in small groups on drills and activities that the high school program uses. Areas we will be working on are: infield, Outfield, and hitting.   • Horse Camp Ages 2-5 yrs.

    Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet a number of different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn about how to groom the horses...all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15 minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. PARENT/GUARDIAN: This 2-hour camp is designed for parent/guardian participation. Parent/Guardian is expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp. WEATHER: Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena.   • Horse Camp Ages 6-15 yrs.

    Kids will learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40min-50min (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk on their own. They also might make horse treats, do a craft, and play games. And don't forget the time to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! PARENT Drop-off is at 9am and PARENT pickup is 3pm. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day.
